It has not been even a month since the last time Bajaj increased the prices of its vehicles in the Indian market and the Pune-based manufacturer has restarted it. The CT100, CT110, Platina 100, and Platina 110 H-Gear have each seen an increase in at least one variant, and in some cases, it has increased by over Rs 2,300. The new price of Bajaj CT100 has increased from Rs 1,497 to Rs 50,470 from Rs 42,790, while the old price was Rs 41,293 to Rs 48,973. The new price of Bajaj CT100 KS Alloy has increased by Rs 1,498 to Rs 48,410, compared to Rs 46,912 earlier. The price of Bajaj Platina 100 KS Alloy has increased by Rs 1,498 to Rs 49,261, compared to Rs 47,763 earlier. The price of Bajaj Platina 110 H-Gear has increased by Rs 2,349 to Rs 62,899, whereas earlier it used to be Rs 60,550.

These commuter models are a big part of Bajaj's sales and due to the continuous increase in such prices, the manufacturer may be at a disadvantage in this price-sensitive segment of the market. Bajaj has appointed an innovative 'e-carb' on these bikes, as everyone has opted instead of the fuel injection system. We were hoping that this technology would be more cost-effective, but given the fact that this is not the case, the CT100 BS6 now starts at about Rs 9,400 more than its BS4 model. Fuel injection system has also been given in Hero HF Deluxe, due to which it has become almost Rs 8,000 more expensive than the BS4 model.
