Bajaj Auto in India is all set to launch an adventure tourer motorcycle soon. Bajaj pulsar is working on "Pulsar 250 Adventure" in the series. The upcoming motorcycle will take on the Hero Xpulse 200 and royal Enfield Himalayan. Let's know about this bike in detail.
Not much information about the upcoming motorcycle has been received at this time. But it is expected that the front of the upcoming adventure-tourer will have a 19-inch alloy wheel while the rear will have an 18-inch wheel. These will be set up according to off-roading. In addition, the Adventure Tourer will include a separate suspension setup with long journey (the telescopic unit at the front and the preload-adjustable mono-shock unit at the rear). Both the wheels will have disc brakes as well as a single-channel ABS system standard.
The new Pulsar 250 Adventure will have a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled fuel injection engine that delivers 30 PS at 9,000 rpm. It is the same engine that currently powers the KTM Duke 250 as well. However, it is expected that the engine will be fully rebuilt to meet the needs of the new Adventure Tourer. so that less rpm can get more torque. Sources close to the new Pulsar 250 Adventure reveal that the company may launch it in India in the month of July or August. It is expected to be priced below the company's flagship bike Dominar 400. Keeping this in mind, the potential price of the upcoming motorcycle is expected to be around Rs 1.50 lakh.
