The 2016 superhit film 'Nannaku Prematho' starring Tollywood star Jr NTR, directed by Sukumar, is all set for its Bengali remake. Jr NTR, Rakul Preet Singh and Jagapathi Babu were in the lead roles in 'Nannaku Prematho'. And it was produced by BVSN Prasad under his production house Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra.

In the remake, the lead roles are played by leading Bengali actor Jeet and popular actress Mimi Chakraborty. The film is reportedly titled 'Baji' and is directed by Anshuman Pratyush. It is scheduled to release on October 10 along with Durga Puja festival. 'Nanku Prematho' has received many accolades for its story and performance. It is an action thriller based in London, where a son takes revenge on his father.

It talks about a thug who cheats an entrepreneur and takes away his money. The grown-up Nayak (the entrepreneur's son) decides to take revenge on his father, who is suffering from a terminal illness. The son goes to London to take revenge on the thug who is now rich and powerful enough to befriend his daughter and approach her. The music of the film, which was composed by Devi Sri Prasad, was a chartbuster.
