India has great hope with Bajrang Punia in Tokyo Olympics. If believed this wrestler in 65 kg weight category, he and all his teammates were in a great rhythm. Amid an online live chat show with Indian table tennis player Mudit Dani, Poonia said, 'I think we can win three to four medals in wrestling at the Tokyo Olympics.'

In this case, he further said, "The World Championship was more difficult than the Olympics. Not only this, we had a great performance there, so I think Indian wrestlers are in top form, which makes them medal contenders in Tokyo."

The Tokyo Olympics to be held this year were postponed for 1 year due to the Covid epidemic. Besides 26-year-old Bajrang, Deepak Poonia (silver, 86 kg), Vinesh Phogat (bronze, 53 kg), and Ravi Kumar Dahiya (bronze, 57 kg) also qualified for Tokyo by showing a strong game at the 2019 World Wrestling Championships in Kazakhstan.
