Actor Mohanlal has released the first teaser for his next film 'Barroz,' which will mark his debut film.

Mohanlal took to social media to reveal the first glimpse, saying, "Here's to another year that lies ahead of us. I wish you all the best luck and wealth in the world! May this year prove to be one of your most cherished periods of time! New Year's greetings! First Look at Barroz!"

The film, which will be shot in 3D and will include Spanish actors Paz Vega and Rafael Amargo, will star Mohanlal in the lead role. 'Barroz,' written by Jijo Punnoose, who is best renowned for directing India's first 3D film, 'My Dear Kuttichathan,' will be shot by top cinematographer Santosh Sivan.

In the film, which is being produced by Anthony Perumbavoor, the ace Malayalam actor will portray a genie who guards the wealth of Spanish explorer Vasco Da Gama.
