Bible is the written Word of God and thus the ultimate set of guiding principles governing all areas of life for the people of God. Through these writings, God communicates his will, his laws, his nature, and his saving purpose to humanity.

Bible is the complication of the 66 books and letter written by the more than 40authors and Bible is the original text which was written in three languages Hebrew, Koine and common Greek and Aramaic. The Bible contains a vast amount of information, teachings, and stories.

The Bible is full of percept and truth that provide guidance of the lives. It is divided into two main sections: the Old Testament and the New Testament.

The Old Testament: it is also known as the Hebrew Bible, is the first section of the Bible. It comprises various books that cover historical events, laws, prophecies, poetry, and wisdom literature. Here are some of its major themes and highlights:

Creation and Early History: The Old Testament begins with the book of Genesis, which narrates the creation of the world by God in six days. It includes stories of Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, Noah's Ark, and the Tower of Babel.

The Patriarchs: The book of Genesis introduces the patriarchs - Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (also called Israel). God makes a covenant with Abraham, promising to bless his descendants and make them a great nation.

Exodus and the Ten Commandments: The book of Exodus recounts how Moses leads the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt. God reveals the Ten Commandments and other laws on Mount Sinai, forming the basis of moral and ethical principles for the Israelites.

Conquest and Judges: After wandering in the wilderness, the Israelites enter the Promised Land and face various challenges. The period of the judges is marked by cycles of sin, oppression, and deliverance.

Kings and Prophets: The Israelites request a king, and Saul becomes the first king, followed by King David and King Solomon. Later, the kingdom divides into the northern kingdom of Israel and the southern kingdom of Judah. Prophets like Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel warn the people about their unfaithfulness and call for repentance.

Wisdom Literature: Books like Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Job contain wisdom sayings and reflections on the meaning of life, suffering, and divine justice.

The New Testament: The New Testament focuses on the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, as well as the early Christian Church. It comprises four Gospels, Acts of the Apostles, letters (Epistles), and the book of Revelation. Here are some of its key components:

The Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John present different perspectives on the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. They cover His birth, teachings, miracles, crucifixion, and resurrection.

Acts of the Apostles: This book, authored by Luke, narrates the growth of the early Christian Church, the work of the apostles, and the spread of Christianity.

Epistles (Letters): The New Testament includes letters written by early Christian leaders like Paul, Peter, James, and John to various churches and individuals. These letters provide guidance, encouragement, and theological insights.

Salvation and Grace: A central theme of the New Testament is the concept of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Christians believe that Jesus' death and resurrection provide forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

Sermon on the Mount: In Matthew 5-7, Jesus delivers a sermon that includes the Beatitudes and teachings on love, forgiveness, prayer, and moral conduct.

Last Supper and Crucifixion: The Last Supper, described in the Gospels, is the final meal Jesus shares with His disciples before His arrest and crucifixion. His death is understood as a sacrifice for the redemption of humanity.

Resurrection and Ascension: According to the Gospels, Jesus rises from the dead on the third day after His crucifixion. He appears to His disciples before ascending into heaven.

Revelation: The book of Revelation, attributed to John, contains apocalyptic visions and prophecies about the end times and the ultimate victory of good over evil.

The Bible contains many more stories, teachings, and complexities. It has been translated into numerous languages and is considered one of the most influential and widely read books in human history, shaping the beliefs and values of millions of people around the world.
