Its electric scooter range has been launched in India by the Jaipur-based start-up company BattRE. The company has priced it at 65 thousand rupees. The company is now landing in the e-mobility segment with its e-cycle. The BattRE electric scooter has been given no name, but it is currently being spoken by E-scooter. As a features, it has keyless start, under-seat storage, USB port, rear reverse and a motorcycle-like handle. The start-up has launched its e-scooter at Nagpur, Hyderabad, Anantapur and Kurnool. The digital display is given in the BattRE e-Scooter, which provides battery usage, speed, temperature, odometer and information if there is a malfunction. As safety features, it has day running lights, rear reverse, tyre locks with anti-theft alarms, front and rear disc brakes and wide-tube tyres. The company claims that their e-scooters are equipped with lithium iron phosphate batteries, which boast better performance as well as longer operations.

 

With this scooter, the company is claiming that its battery will run for up to 7 years, although it is also dependent on use. The company is also working on creating new feature Internet of things that will enable the scooter to be connected to the mobile app, and the mobile app will be launched soon. The electric scooter will connect to the smartphone app with the help of cloud-based GPRS, which would allow all the information related to the train to be found. According to a report, India's electric two-wheeler market will go up by 40 per cent from 2018 to 2025. It can be gauged that the figure of electric scooter sales in India could surpass 20 lakh by 2025. Bat-Ri's e-scooter is weighing just 65 kg and is able to cover a distance of 90 Km in single charging. It uses a 48V 30Ah lithium iron phospface battery, which takes these electric scooters for a total of four hours in full charge.
