Bigg Boss Malayalam 2 contestant Sujo Mathew recently landed in a controversy. During an argument with co-contestant Pawan Thomas, Sujo denied being in a relationship with his rumored girlfriend Sanjana. Netizens are upset with Sujo's statement as the contestant mentioned earlier on the show that his girlfriend gifted him a T-shirt. Sanjana took it to her Instagram handle to react to Sujo's statements. Sanjana said that 'honesty is more important than game'.

She further said, "Sujo, you really don't know who gave you the jacket? Sanjana is your friend? Seriously? Be happy with your lies." In another screenshot, which is doing the rounds on social media, Sanjana mentioned about sending a birthday gift to Sujo. During an argument in a recent episode (5 February), Pavan said that he had gifted Sujo a yellow jacket, which was Sanjana's birthday present for the latter. In the episode, Sujo and Pavan end up in an ugly spot on Sanjana.

Despite Pavan being close to Sujo, he confronts Alsandra when he realizes that he has a girlfriend, and questions who his girlfriend is. He said, "Who is my girlfriend?" When Pavan mentions Sanjana as his (Sujo) girlfriend, Sujo asks, "Who is Sanjana?" Later, Sujo claims that Sanjana, Shalini, etc. are his girlfriends. He even hugs Alsandra, saying that she is also his girlfriend. However, the whole incident caused hatred towards Sujo among BB fans. Some netizens also suggested bringing Sanjana as a wild card contestant in BB home.
