The Indian cricket board's relations with the International Cricket Council (ICC), headed by Shashank Manohar, hit a new low after the Indian women cricket team was docked six focuses for not playing reciprocal arrangement with Pakistan between August 1 to October 31 according to the agreement.

An irate BCCI has held up a challenge with the worldwide body, which is very much aware that any two-sided arrangement against Pakistan needs government authorization under the current political situation. Also, ICC has an Indian as its director. The ICC technical council said it had considered composed entries from both the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and its Pakistani partner before deciding.

"The specialized board of trustees was touchy to the present condition of relations between the countries of India and Pakistan, yet presumed that the BCCI had not possessed the capacity to build up worthy purposes behind not taking an interest in this arrangement," the ICC said in an announcement.

The choice means the Indian eves, who remain fifth in the focuses table, will pass up a major opportunity for automatic qualification for the 2017 World Cup in England.
