Ahmedabad: In Gujarat, the Congress has played a big bet ahead of the elections. Congress has made a big announcement about farmers. On Friday, state Congress president Jagdish Thakor and former Union minister Bharatsinh Solanki said that if we win the assembly elections in Gujarat and form the government, we will first decide on the welfare of farmers and loans up to Rs 3 lakh of farmers of the state will be waived.

Congress leaders said that the decision to loan up to Rs 3 lakh to farmers will be taken in the first cabinet meeting itself. He said that along with this, GST is levied on the essential things that are there for the farmers, including fertilizer, seeds etc. It will be planned to reduce or remove it. Congress said that we have accomplished the schemes we had for the farmers and the concessions given to the farmers in our government. The schemes which are benefiting the farmers in the Congress-ruled states will be implemented after the government comes to power in Gujarat. He said that girls will be given free education in the state.

 

The Congress has also said that it will implement free electricity for 10 hours in the state, relief for diseases and natural disasters and Gaudhan Nyay Yojana in Gujarat. Assembly elections are going to be held in Gujarat this year. The BJP has been in power in the state for the last 27 years. In such a situation, Congress is now preparing in every way to return to power.
