Beijing: At a news conference on Tuesday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian denied media reports that China had invited leaders of four European countries to visit Beijing in November. According to the South China Morning Post, which cited a source, China invited the leaders of Germany, France, Italy and Spain to visit Beijing in November and meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping, but European countries have yet to respond.
