Bullampalli MLA Durgam Chinnayya appealed to tribals on Wednesday to send their children to schools as the government provides quality education and hostel facilities. He was speaking at a mega community trichy programme organized by The Tandoor Police. 25 kg of rice, blankets, school bags for 100 students and sports kits were distributed to 300 tribal families in the remote Bejjala village of Tandoor mandal. Along with him, Ramagundam Police Commissioner V Satyanarayana and DCP Uday Kumar Reddy are present.
Addressing a gathering of about 1,000 tribals from Bejjala and nearby villages under Narsapur (G) village, Chinnaiya urged tribals to encourage their wards in education. They are now happy to rely on set-run schools and hostels, where facilities for tribals, including nutritious rice meals, have been extended. The legislator believed that IPS and IAS officers should get out of tribal villages to develop their areas. He promised to work to build a black-top road to Bezalah, a long-term dream of the locals. He said he would invite police commissioner Satyanarayana to the inauguration and soon eat the tribals.
