Kolkata: BJP has stepped up preparations for the upcoming assembly election. In West Bengal, the BJP has prepared a 117-member team, which will monitor the things related to the election. It is special that this team will work directly under the care of Home Minister Amit Shah and the party's national president JP Nadda. Elections in Bengal are to be held in April-May 2021. Let us tell you that BJP got 40% vote share in 2019. 

For the first time in Bengal, the BJP has prepared a team of such a large number of electoral workers. The 117 member teams of BJP will be divided into 31 units. These teams will look after the party's campaign, synergy, data and booths. Amit Shah and JP Nadda, who became the captains of this team, will visit the state for a few days each month. According to media reports, BJP leaders have reported that 294 leaders are arriving from Delhi and other states to work with local workers.

The BJP has sent five leaders from the Center for the first time to prepare for the booth level. The party has formed a separate team for television and media interviews. The BJP leader said that in some units, there will be state leaders including MPs and MLAs and senior leaders of the party will lead them. Whereas, some troops will have only one state level leader. Recently, TMC veteran Shubhendu Adhikari had said that it is impossible for him to work with the party.
