Vehicle manufacturer Bentley Motors has announced that it has resumed production with over 1700 employees at Crewe Headquarters, England. The company has assured that the workforce will follow a wider and wider range of sanitation regulations and will strictly follow the social distancing guidelines for safe return. Under Bentley's 'Come Back Stronger' program, the company will focus on increasing phased production following major changes in daily working life. Before resuming work, the company provided thorough information on the new working patron, operation and environment during the social distance briefing and training session.

The employees have returned to the redesigned manufacturing facility, which includes two meters social distancing, one-way movement path and traffic flow among the employees. At the same time the company has reconfigured washrooms throughout the site, reducing the number of people who are able to use them. The return of the Continental GT and Flying Spur line will add the Bentayga and Mulsanne production lines, which will start on May 16, 2020. Production runs per line are limited to 50 percent for several weeks. Initially the average time is doubled. Each product sale is now spread over two steps which ensures the necessary distance between employees. The rest of the employees will be put back until the middle of June after getting permission from the government.

Bentley Motors Chairman and CEO Adrian Hallmark stated that "now is the perfect time to be back in business again. We have supported our partners, families and our customers." Comprehensive new measures have been introduced for safety. We are confident that after the work of so many people that being Bentley is more safe for our colleagues than anywhere else.
