A bomb blast inside a house in Kazwalichak mohalla under the Tatarpur police station area of Bhagalpur at around 12.30 pm on Thursday night created havoc. A total of three houses were razed to the ground in the blast, and 11 people, including a woman and a child, were killed. It is being told that 11 injured have been evacuated from the debris by 1 pm and taken to the hospital. On the other hand, some other houses in the vicinity have also been damaged. In this case, the police have indicated that the blast took place during the making of the bomb. SSP Babu Ram said that preliminary investigation has revealed that there was an explosion while making the bomb. It is reported that at 11:35 p.m., there was a blast in a house in the locality and Sheela Devi and Leela Devi lived in this house.

During this time, the intensity of the blast was so high that two more houses in the vicinity were razed to the ground. Apart from this, some other houses were also damaged. It is being said that the pieces of the house flew half a kilometre away.

However, after the explosion calmed down, a crowd of people gathered and the search began. The bodies of Sheela Devi, Ganesh Kumar and a six-month-old baby were fished out of the debris shortly after. About half a dozen injured were also taken to hospital one by one. According to reports, all the deceased and injured are residents of Kazwali Chowk, Tatarpur. According to the information received in this case, a JCB was called around 1 pm and the work of removing the debris was started. At the same time, how many more people are inside, it has been said that after the debris is removed, it is completely cleaned.
