New Delhi: Vaccination work is underway amid the second wave of corona virus in the country. Now that the third wave has shown greater danger to children, the exercise of trial of Bharat Biotech vaccine on children in the country is underway. The country will begin trialing the vaccine on children between the ages of 2 and 18 in June.
According to sources, the second and third phase of india biotech vaccine on children will begin in June. It will be completed by going to the middle of July. During this period, trials will be conducted on children between the ages of 2 and 18. According to Bharat Biotech sources, the youngest child in the trial will be 2 years old. The government of India had approved the trial of the vaccine amid warnings of a third wave. This will be done on a total of 525 people in the country. This will include several major hospitals including AIIMS in Delhi, Patna. Two doses of the vaccine will be given during the trial, which will vary by 28 days.
The second wave of corona has wreaked havoc in the country, during which vaccination of people above the age of 18 years has been started. So far, 200 million doses of vaccine have been administered in the country. Experts say the third wave of corona could hit the country by 6 months later.
