New Delhi: Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has made a big announcement on Tuesday to promote tourism. He said bharat gaurav trains will be operated across the country. It will be operated by both private and IRCTC. Tell us that Indian Railways is constantly taking major steps to promote tourism. Railways have launched the Ramayana Express to visit religious places some time ago.

Railway Minister Vaishnav said, "We have allocated more than 180 trains for 'Bharat Gaurav' trains and 3033 coaches have been identified. We'll start taking apps from today. We've got better responses. Shareholders will run the train and help in railway maintenance, parking and other facilities.' He further said, ''This is a completely new segment. This is not a regular train service. The main objective of 'Bharat Gaurav' trains is to promote tourism and there are many aspects to it.'

He said during the press conference that, 'Anyone, tour operator, etc., can give applications for trains and lease them and run them. Tour operators will fix fares.' Ashwini Vaishnav further said that 'Bharat Gaurav' trains will be based on a theme depicting the culture, heritage of the country.
