The political struggle between CM Ashok Gehlot and former PCC Chief Sachin Pilot has been going on for almost a month. The flames of differences between the two groups are arising intermittently. Earlier there was a Twitter war among the leaders, now they are openly opposing each other. The view of this battle of political differences was seen in Bharatpur on Thursday. The supporters of the Sachin Pilot Group shouted slogans when an MLA of Ashok Gehlot reached there.
On Thursday, MLA of Ashok Gehlot faction Joginder Singh Awana went to his assembly constituencies Nadbai. On reaching there, Sachin Pilot supporters hooted before Awana and started shouting slogans in support of Pilot. The situation became such that wherever Awana went, Pilot supporters went after him and shouted slogans. This made Awana feel uncomfortable, but Pilot supporters did not stop following him. Awana is one of the 6 MLAs who joined the Congress from the BSP. The Gehlot group was trying to advance Awana as a pilot option in Gurjar dominated areas in eastern Rajasthan. Pilot supporters are angry with Awana for this.
In the middle of the long political struggle between Gehlot-Pilot, there was political reconciliation between the two due to the intervention of senior leaders, but the differences are still there. This is the reason that leaders of both groups do not desist from tightening each other whenever and wherever they get the opportunity. However, in front of the media, both groups no longer directly accept differences and discrimination, but it is clearly seen in their statements and behaviour. The statement that Sachin Pilot had made two days ago on his return from Delhi to Jaipur, had created a stir among the Gehlot Group. Many views like Bharatpur can be seen during Pilot's state tour.
