NEW DELHI: India's leading multinational telecommunications services provider Bharti Airtel on Wednesday announced that it has crossed the one million unique 5G user mark on its network, it rolls out 5G services in a phased manner.
Airtel said it has achieved this milestone in less than one month of its commercial launch even as the network is being built. "All 5G devices can now operate on the Airtel 5G Plus network, with a few exceptions that should be resolved in the upcoming weeks. Our network is still being constructed daily. Airtel began offering 5G services in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Siliguri, Nagpur, and Varanasi earlierolloutonth.
As the business continues to build its network and finish the roll out, the services in these cities are being introduced gradually. Although it is still early, Sekhon claimed that the customers' feedback has been very positive.
In addition to 20 to 30 times faster speeds than the existing speed, the company also guarantees excellent sound quality and lightning-quick call connections.
Customers with 5G devices can utilise the fast Airtel 5G Plus on their current data plans while waiting for the rollout to be more widespread. Since the current Airtel 4G SIM supports 5G, there is no need to switch out the SIM.
Superfast access to high-definition video streaming, gaming, simultaneous chatting, rapid photo uploading, and more will be possible with Airtel 5G Plus.
