Ghulam Ali,the Pakistani ghazal singer was scheduled to perform today at a ‘Cultural Event’ in Bhavnagar, has cancelled his visit. Asmita Parv(cultural event)has been held by a trust run by religious leader Morari Bapu at Talgajarda village in Bhavnagar district from April 19-22.

"Due to unavoidable circumstances, Ghulam Ali has informed us that he may not be able to come for the event” said organizer.

“Other programs are running as per the schedule. Ali may not come to collect his award too on the last day of the event,” added organizing committee member J J Mankad.

Amid,the four day function-Ghulam and nine other popular personalities associated with several fields of art were to be presented with awards.

According to the schedule out by the Trust, Ali along with five others was to be given 'Hanumant Award' on the concluding day of the event on April 22.
