Lucknow: Bhim Army Chief Chandrashekhar Azad, under house arrest by UP police, has started a sit-in from his house. He has also intensified attacks on the Yogi government of the state. In one of his tweets, he has written that "I am sitting on a protest in my house, injustice will not be tolerated. Dalits are being treated unfairly in UP. So far, the false District Magistrate and SSP of Hathras who have been protecting criminals and performing inhuman acts have not been removed. How can justice be expected from such unworthy people?"
In his next tweet, Chandrasekhar wrote, "SC / ST Act, Sec 4: If a public servant knowingly doesn't perform his duties as per this law, he is guilty. He should be arrested immediately". He further writes, "CM Yogi should suspend and arrest DM, SSP, CO and SHO who have done injustice to the victim in Hathras case and eradicate evidence".
Chandrasekhar tas demanded the imposition of President's rule in UP. He wrote in the tweet, "Hathras, Azamgarh, Bulandshahr, Meerut, Balrampur every district of Uttar Pradesh is being embarrassed by the incidents of rape. The constitutional machinery is a complete failure. The government is not being handled by Yogi Adityanath. President, declare President's rule as soon as possible".
