Bhojpur: A small boat loaded with labourers, who were on its way across the River Ganga to cut a field at Majhauli Ganga Ghat under Krishnagarh police station area of Bihar, suddenly capsized in river Ganga late on Monday evening. The bodies of two women and the boy have also been recovered in the morning. The torch was found in the woman's hand. From which it seems that at midnight, all these workers were being taken through the Ganga river for wages.

Awadhesh Singh, a resident of Majhauli village, called 11 workers from West Thorsan village of Karhargar block of Rohtas district to harvest lentils and 14 people were going to Diara area on a boat on the Ganges river, due to this The boat got out of control and sank in the River Ganga. 11 persons on the boat somehow swam away and 3 persons including two women drowned in the river.

On Tuesday morning, the bodies of the two drowned women overflowed from the River Ganga and came out towards the shore. At the same time, the body of the missing youth has been seized by the local villagers by putting up langar. The deceased include Prashant Kumar, the 12-year-old son of Luv Nath Singh, a resident of Majhauli village under Krishnagarh police station area, Sharda Devi, 47, wife of Gyan Chand Ram, a resident of West Thorsan village under Karhargar police station area of Rohtas district and Somariya Devi, the 67-year-old wife of Girja Ram of the same village. Somariya Devi was holding a torch in her hands till her death. The police are investigating the case.
