Bhopal, the latest trends from the Election Commission of India indicate that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has secured a significant lead in Madhya Pradesh. As per the latest updates, the BJP is leading in 133 out of 199 seats, while the Congress trails behind with 52 seats, according to the 10:11 am update from the poll body.

The Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election outcomes, to be disclosed alongside Rajasthan, Telangana, and Chhattisgarh, are eagerly anticipated. The primary contenders, the Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress, are vying for dominance in the state. BJP aims for a second term in power, while Congress endeavors to unseat the Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led administration.

Madhya Pradesh conducted its election in a single phase on November 17, recording a 71.26 percent voter turnout across all 230 seats until 5 pm.

Alok Sharma from BJP is currently in the lead in Bhopal Uttar, whereas PC Sharma of Congress holds the lead in Bhopal Dakshin-Paschim. Additionally, Congress' Arif Masood is making substantial strides in the Bhopal Madhya seat. Presently governed by BJP's Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the state saw a shift in power from Congress to BJP in the 2018 Assembly Elections due to defections. Congress aspires to reclaim its position in the state this time around.
