Bhopal: A youth committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Kotra Sultanabad area under Kamla Nagar police station area on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Kishan Awasthi, aged 28, was spotted hanging by the family members and took him to the nearby hospital where he was declared dead. After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. A case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered by the police.

Police have not recovered any suicide note which could help in revealing the reason behind the suicide. The post mortem report is awaited and other reasons behind the death would be investigated. The statements of family members and friends would be recorded to investigate the reason behind the suicide.
