Bhumi Pednekar talked about celebrating the Ganapati festival. She has urged everyone to choose eco-friendly idols for the betterment of the environment. Bhumi is an environmental activist, besides she is an excellent actress. She said, "This is my favourite festival and we have been celebrating Ganpati for years. However, since I have embarked on a journey for climate protection, I have realized that there are many better and more permanent ways to celebrate this festival. Nature is God, God is nature. We have to find better options".

Apart from this, she has also joined hands with Maharashtra's sculptor and environmental activist Dattadri to spread this message. Dattadri is at the forefront of making Ganapati idols with tree seeds inside the idols. After the end of this festival, the idol of Ganesh can be immersed in a clay pot. Bhoomi will also upload 'Do It Yourself' (DIY) ways to make Ganpati idols, which will be environmentally friendly.

The actress talked about this and said, "I really hope that such methods will be adopted by citizens to spread the message of environmental protection to the next generations. I hope that people will be inspired to choose such environmentally friendly options. It is also a revolutionary idea to protect our country".
