In recent incident in Jammu and Kashmir the deadliest Pulwama terror attack has triggered angry protests against Pakistan in every quarter of the country. More than 40 CRPF personnel were killed when their convoy was targeted in Pulwama district. In the wake of the horrifying terror attack, Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series has pulled down all the Pakistani songs from their YouTube channel. The music company had recently collaborated with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam for two different singles. Pakistani singer Atif Aslam’s new song named 'Baarishein' was released on the channel recently, which has now been removed.

This action has come after Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) on Saturday asked all the music companies to stop working with Pakistani artists. Amey Khopkar, head of the MNS Chitrapat Senatold that “We have verbally communicated to Indian music companies like T-Series, Sony Music, Venus, Tips Music etc to not work with Pakistani singers. These companies should stop it immediately or we will take action in our own style,”.

Meanwhile, a source informs, “T-Series had uploaded Atif's and Rahat Saab's single a day before but as soon as the news came label decided to remove the videos looking at the situation. What happened with Phulwama attacks is horrible and the label condemns the act and it was their way to show support. The music label has stopped all promotions for those songs as soon as the news came.”

Meanwhile, after the terror attack, Navjot Singh Sidhu has been ousted from The Kapil Sharma Show over his comment on the same. “For a handful of people, can you blame the entire nation and can you blame an individual? It (the attack) is a cowardly act and I condemn it firmly. Violence is always condemnable and those who did it must be punished," he told media in Punjab. Twitterati demanded a boycott and the channel took no time to take the decision.
