New Delhi: Farmers' war has reached Parliament from the road. On the one hand, farmers' organizations are camping on different borders of Delhi with the demand for withdrawal of all three agricultural laws, while the MPs of opposition parties are raising the voice of farmers within the Parliament. On this issue, there was fierce sloganeering in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday. On the other hand, an MP of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spoke of not making this movement as Shaheen Bagh.

The motion of thanks was discussed in the Upper House on Wednesday on the President's address. During this, BJP MP Bhubaneshwar Kalita also spoke. The MP said that the government has done the job of upliftment of farmers through new agricultural laws, even after this, the opposition MPs are obstructing the proceedings of Parliament on this issue. He said, "The government has held several rounds of talks with the farmers and the avenues of discussion are open. The government is ready to discuss all the issues related to it, but I want to appeal to my friends not to make it another Shaheen Bagh. ''

Apart from the peasant movement, Bhubaneswar Kalita also raised the issue of Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). The movement that took place in Delhi's Shaheenbagh on the road for more than three months, was also against CAA. During that movement the road connecting Noida-Badarpur was closed from both sides. There was a lot of uproar on that issue as well. In Delhi Assembly elections, there was fierce rhetoric on Shaheen Bagh and at the time of the movement, violence also erupted in North East Delhi.
