Hazaribagh: A bus full of passengers fell down on the Siwane bridge of Daru-Tatijharia in the Tatijharia police station area of ​​Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand. Seven passengers lost their lives in the accident that took place at around 4 pm on Saturday. About 40 passengers are reported to be injured. There were 52 people in the bus. Five injured persons have been sent to RIMS. Four women and three men were among the dead. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the death of people in a bus accident in Hazaribagh district.

It is being said that the leaf broke due to the flywheel in the pit and the bus fell into the ditch below the bridge. There was a scream as soon as the bus fell to the bottom of the river. 7 people including Harendra Singh, Rani Saluja, Ravinder Kaur, and Giridih Sevadar are included in the dead. While two people are trapped in the bus at the spot. The injured persons have been sent to HMCH for treatment. All the deceased are residents of Giridih. A Luna rider was also injured, who hails from UP.

According to the news, the bus had left Giridih for Ranchi at 1:30 pm with about 45 passengers. As soon as he reached the bridge of the river Sevane at around 4 pm, his wheel went into the pit and as soon as the leaf broke, the bus fell about 20 feet. A passenger told that he was going to take part in the Samagam function to be held at the Gurudwara in Ranchi. In the meantime, the accident happened. As soon as the accident happened, there was screaming under the bridge. On coming to know about the accident, the nearby people reached the spot and started evacuating the passengers trapped in the bus. As soon as the news of the same incident was received, SDPO Anuj Urao, Tatijharia BDO Shiney Tigga, Daru police station in-charge Amit Kumar, Tatijharia police station in-charge Jitendra Kumar reached the spot and sent all the injured persons to Sadar Hospital for treatment.
