Big accident happened in Maharashtra, 5 people died tragically

Sangli: The news of a major accident is coming out from Sangli district of Maharashtra  . Here a truck rammed into a car, killing five persons. After the incident, mourning spread in the area. After receiving the news of the accident, the police reached the spot and took stock. The police have taken the bodies in possession and sent them for postmortem. The driver of the truck fled from the spot after the accident, the police is on the lookout for him.

According to the information received, the accident took place near Jath town on Vijapur-Guhagar road at around 11 pm on Friday night. The victims of the accident were going to Jath from Vijapur by car. An officer told that when the car reached Amritwadi Phata, a truck carrying soil rammed into the car at a high speed. The driver lost his life along with four people of the same family in a collision with a truck car.

Police say that the victims of the accident were residents of Jath town. He was returning from a pilgrimage. The police officer said that the dead include 38-year-old Mayuri Sawant, Mayuri's 8-year-old son Shlok, 65-year-old Namdev and 60-year-old mother Padmini and car driver Datta Chavan, 40. These people died on the spot. After the accident, the truck driver fled from the spot. The police team is looking for the truck driver.
