Patna: Bihar's Bahubali MLA Anant Singh has suffered a setback. Rashtriya Janata United MLA Anant Singh has been found guilty by an MP-MLA court in the AK-47 case. Anant Singh will now be sentenced on June 21. This is the case of the year 2019. When Anant Singh's house was raided.

The AK-47 was seized from the house of Bahubali MLA Anant Singh of Mokama, the small government of Bihar. The police, led by the then ASP Lipi Singh, had then raided Anant Singh's house in Ladma village. In the search operation that lasted for about 11 hours, an AK-47 along with a hand grenade, 26 rounds of bullets and a magazine were seized from the house of Anant Singh.

Lipi Singh, who led the police's search operation, claimed that the search operation was carried out on the basis of strong reports of arms smuggling. The news was also given to the then Senior Superintendent of Police of Patna Garima Malik and the then Director General of Police (now retired) Gupteshwar Pandey. In a foolproof manner, the police had raided the house of Anant Singh at around 4 am. The caretaker was arrested by the police from the house of Anant Singh after the raid. Anant Singh then fled. Anant Singh had surrendered before the Saket court in the national capital after 3-4 days of 3-4 days of the Bihar Police. After surrendering in a Saket court in Delhi, the Bihar Police had brought Anant Singh on transit remand and flooded him. Lipi Singh herself had also gone to Delhi. Anant Singh has been in police custody since August 24, 2019.
