Producer of the movies 'Sooryavanshi' (1992) and 'Veer' (2010) with Salman Khan, Amrita Singh and Sheeba, Vijay Galani died in London on Wednesday night. He was in London for the last few months in connection with the treatment of blood cancer and was getting his treatment in a hospital there. It is noteworthy that he starred in Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Kareena Kapoor and Bipasha Basu starrer Ajnabee (2001) with Govinda and Manisha Koirala, 'Achanak' (1998), 'The Power' with Vidyut Jammwal and Shruti Haasan. (2021) had also produced many more movies.

According to media reports, Vijay Galani, who was suffering from blood cancer, had gone to London with his family for a bone marrow transplant three months ago. He had come to know about himself having cancer only a few months back. Anil Sharma, who worked as a director in the movie 'Veer' with producer Vijay Galani, has confirmed Vijay Galani's death to the media, saying that he had a phone conversation with Vijay Galani, who was living in London two and a half months ago. Anil Sharma says, ''The news of Vijay's death is very sad. He was a very nice person and my relationship with him has always been good."

According to media reports, Anil Sharma has said that Prateek Galani, son of Vijay Galani had returned from London 3-4 days ago, but Prateek left for London again as soon as he got the news of his father's death.
