In a wholeheart support that mean a lot to martyr families, big hearted Big B made an announcement to donate for families. The dastardly terror attack in Pulwama left the whole nation in the mourning as 49 CRPF jawans were martyred. Since then many on social media are in outrage. The entire nation has been left shell shocked and disturbed due to the heinous attack. Indians everywhere are uniting in their grief and sources have informed us that Amitabh Bachchan will be donating Rs 5 lakh each to the families of the 49 martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation. The total amount to be donated by Amitabh Bachchan is Rs 2.45 crore.

It is also heard that he is currently finding out from the Government of India sources as to where and how this amount will be distributed to ensure it is expedited. When a source approached his spokesperson, they confirmed the same, "Yes Mr Bachchan will be giving Rs 5 Lakh to each of the martyr's families and is currently finding out the correct process to do so."

We have also learnt that he was supposed to attend Virat Kohli's Foundation event today as a special guest but he called it off yesterday in solidarity with the jawans.In the past as well Amitabh Bachchan had donated Rs 2.25 crore to the 44 families of the soldiers who were martyred while protecting their country. On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is gearing up for the release of Badla. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, Badla marks the reunion of Amitabh Bachchan with Taapsee Pannu after Pink. The movie is produced by Shah Rukh Khan.

For those unaware, yesterday Amitabh Bachchan completed 50 years in the Hindi film industry. On February 15, 1969, Amitabh Bachchan signed his first film Saat Hindustani.
