The District Court of Varanasi has given its verdict in favor of the Hindu side. The Hindu side has been given the right to worship in the Vyas basement of Gyanvapi. The court has directed the district administration to make arrangements for barricading within 7 days. This basement is below the mosque. Now regular worship will be done here. The puja will be conducted by the Kashi Vishwanath Trust Board. The Hindu side has called it a big victory and claimed to have got justice after 30 years. Worship was performed here till November 1993.

Reports say that after yesterday's hearing on the petition of Shailendra Kumar Pathak demanding the right to perform puja in the Vyas Tahkhana located in the Gyanvapi complex of Varanasi, the order was reserved by the District Judge. On which the decision has come today.

In this case, the Hindu side claims that before November 1993, the worship at the Vyas basement was stopped by the then state government. Which should be given the right to start again. At the same time, the Muslim side also appealed to dismiss the petition citing the Places of Worship Act. But the court rejected the petition of the Muslim side and gave the Hindu side the right to worship in the Vyas basement of Gyanvapi.
