Lucknow: For Uttar Pradesh students, there is some wonderful news. Board examinations may be postponed owing to the state's assembly elections, according to reports. After the elections, the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UPBSE) is considering holding 10th and 12th board examinations. Preboard examinations, on the other hand, can be taken anytime between January 1 and January 10.

Because the board test and election dates coincide on the same day, the examination dates are likely to be prolonged. The decision, according to education department sources, might affect more than 51 lakh kids. The number of students applying for the 10th Board Examination is about 27 lakh and the number of 12th class students is about 23 lakh.

In February, the 10th and 12th board exams were set to take place. Assembly elections, however, will take place in February and March. During this time, the school will be converted into a voting station, and instructors will be assigned to election duty. As a result, conducting tests during election time is not possible. As a result, board examinations might take place after the elections.
