Actress Rishika has been admitted to the hospital after she suffered severe injuries and multiple fractures when she met a car accident on 30 July Thursday. Rishika is said to have attended a birthday party with her friend Arpita along with the daughter of Kannada actor Jai Jagdish and was returning to a car driven by another friend near Mavilipura in Bengaluru around midnight. The driver apparently lost control of the car suddenly and crashed after hitting a tree.
The people of the area then helped both the actress and her friend and took her to a private hospital nearby and her condition is said to be stable, but the discharge may take a few weeks.
Rishika, also known as Rohini Singh, is the daughter of director Rajendra Singh Babu and sister of young Kannada hero Aditya. He has acted in several films including Kanteerava, Kalla Malla Sul, Benki Birugali and Kireta. He also gained fame after participating in the 'Bigg Boss' Kannada season hosted by Sudeep.
