Madhubani: The body of a 22-year-old journalist was recovered on the roadside in Madhubani, Bihar on Friday. The deceased Avinash Jha was missing for the last 4-5 days. Avinash is said to have written a post on Facebook about the fake medical clinic in the past. After that, he went missing. However, the police termed it as a case of a love affair. Avinash alias Buddhinath Jha from Benipatti was a journalist as well as a social activist.

He had complained of several fake clinics in the past. Then, action was also taken against them. Avinash's family members have accused the operators of the same clinic of murder. Avinash Jha was last seen on November 9 at 10 pm. Thereafter, he was searched by the family members. The family members complained to the police when Avinash was nowhere to be traced. However, no clue could be found. His body was found on the roadside on Friday.

The police, on the other hand, has arrested a woman in the case. Police say that the murder took place in a love affair. This was confirmed by Dr Satya Prakash, SP, Madhubani. Media reports say that Avinash's body was found charred. The police did not confirm it. However, police believe that the body was found partially mutilated. Police conducted a postmortem of the body and handed it over to the family members. Avinash was cremated on Sunday. According to a report received, Avinash was abducted by four persons from the market area near his house on Tuesday night. Avinash's brother Chandrashekhar told that he suspected that the fake clinic owners had kidnapped him.
