Patna: A major negligence has come to light in Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College-Hospital located in Bhagalpur district of Bihar. A family took the patient away from the hospital ignoring the instruction of the doctor, due to which the patient died. According to doctors, a family took their patient out of the third floor ICU and said that the patient needed open air. The doctors opposed this, but the patient's family did not listen to them.
The patient died due to this negligence. This whole matter is of July 19, but the video of this incident is now in the headlines once again. The patient died when he was being brought to Katihar. The family took the patient out against the advice of doctors. The family alleged that the hospital was not treating the patient properly. In a video, the doctors alleged that the family had dragged the patient along with the ICU bed and oxygen trolley, during which no one had put on a mask. When doctors stopped, the patient's family started threatening them. When the doctors could not find the patient in the ICU, they informed the local police station.
Doctors say that if patients will not help in the treatment, then how will they be coped with corona. This is not a picture of only one hospital in Bihar, but it is happening in many big hospitals. Be it Bhagalpur or the capital of the state, Patna.
