Patna: A case of brutally beating a 13-year-old child in Sothgaon under the Harlakhi police station area of Madhubani district of Bihar has come to light. The child was accused of stealing chocolate. The child is identified as Mohammad Ahmed Raine, son of Haviv Raine from the village. Some people of the village are accused of killing the child in the village.
A complaint in this case of murder has been lodged four days after the incident. By then, the accused had killed and buried the child. Following the complaint, the body of the child was dug out for postmortem and the main accused Kasim was arrested and sent to jail. According to media reports, Ahmed went out of the house on September 30 to play with some of his friends. At that time his father went to the market and his mother went to the field to cut grass.
While playing with friends, he walked towards the house of a man named Qasim. Where he was caught by Qasim and his family alleged him of stealing chocolate from his shop and beat him badly by tying him to a pillar, which led to the death of the child.
