Patna: In Bihar's Aurangabad, a prominent candidate has taken a shameful step against some people for not voting in his favor in the Panchayat elections. During this, the accused forcibly made sit-ups with two youths of the Mahadalit community and despite not being satisfied with this, the prime candidate forced the victims to lick the spit. After the video of this incident became viral, the police took action and arrested the accused.

In fact, this case is of Kharanti Tole Bhuiyan Bigha under Dumri Panchayat of Amba police station area of Kutumba block in Aurangabad district. According to the police officer, members of the Mahadalit community have been assaulted for not voting for the post of chief in the panchayat elections. The youths have been identified as Anil Kumar Bhuyan and Manjit Bhuyan. During this, Balwant Kumar, who was the chief candidate from this panchayat, is seen in front of the youths in the video, who is forcibly getting them to do sit-ups and lick spit. He is also seen kicking them during sit-ups. It is alleged that this has been done by the head candidate for not voting in the election. At present, Balwant Kumar is in the custody of the police.
Balwant Kumar, an accused in the case, is a resident of Singhna village in the same panchayat. Meanwhile, the Amba police station in charge said that an FIR has been registered on the statement of Manjit Bhuiyan. He said further action is being taken. Meanwhile, the accused head candidate has denied the allegations. On the contrary, he has alleged that the two youths were indulging in alcoholism.
