Patna: One-year-old child was killed in Charan village under Mali police station area of Navinagar block of Aurangabad district of Bihar. Police have recovered the dead body. The deceased has been identified as the son of Hariom Soni, a resident of Charan. According to the information received, Hariom Soni's father named his property in his wife's name.
Hariom was fighting with his brother over this. On Wednesday night, there was an altercation between Hariom Soni's wife and her sister-in-law. At some point in the night, the child was picked up and thrown into the toilet tank. When the child's mother started searching for him, he could not be found. There was an outcry in the house at night. A crowd of people started gathering in the morning. Somehow the family came to know that the child was thrown in the toilet tank. Mali police station also reached the spot after receiving information and in the presence of villagers, a person was lowered into a toilet tank from where the body of the child was recovered.
After this, the condition of the family members was disturbed. Villagers condemned the incident. The body has been taken and kept in the hospital for postmortem. Mali police station chief Ramesh Kumar said that it is being investigated. The child is killed in a property dispute. Currently, the application has not been received. Further action will be taken after recording the statement of all the people.
