Bihar: Bike rider hit standing truck due to fog, died in agony

Begusarai: Due to dense fog in Begusarai, a young man riding a bike lost his life. There was an outcry among the family members as soon as the accident was reported. The incident is of NH 31 near Janipur Dhala of Ballia police station area. The deceased has been identified as Gujo Khalifa, the 36-year-old son of Shyamdev Khalifa, resident of Hariom Nagar ward number two, Ballia under Ballia police station area in the identified district.

The family told the police that the deceased had gone to Baluahi village under Khagaria district for his maternal grandfather's funeral. While reaching near his house after eating a banquet, he was seriously injured after hitting a tractor parked on the roadside due to fog near Janipur Dhala. Abdul Azim, the brother-in-law of the deceased, said that due to the night, he stayed away from the eyes of the people and for a long time he died on the spot, yearning for lack of help.

Subsequently, the police patrol admitted Shyamdev Khalifa to the local PHC for treatment where doctors declared him dead. At the same time, police took the body in its possession and sent it to Sadar Hospital Begusarai for postmortem and started further investigation.
