Bhagalpur: At least 14 people lost their lives in an explosion in a building in Bihar's Bhagalpur on Thursday night. While some people are seriously injured. Due to the explosion in the building, many other houses in the vicinity have also been damaged. The shocking thing is that the building in which the blast took place was just 100 metres away from Kotwali. Neighbours said that bombs were made in this house. The victim's family runs the business of making crackers. 

The house where the blast took place belonged to Mohammad Azad. He had rented out Lilavati Devi. It is being said that Mohammad Azad had reached the spot after the blast incident, but after that, he was nowhere to be seen. Mohammad Azad has escaped. Due to this, Azad's character in the incident is said to be suspicious and it is being said that Azad had to visit Lilavati Devi's place. In such a situation, Azad must have known about keeping the gunpowder in the house and making crackers illegally. He was involved in this illegal business under the guise of grill welding.

On the other hand, the SIT raided Azad's house and arrested his two brothers Mohammed Sholzer and Shahzad. At the same time, the police are also souring Azad's connections with West Bengal and those smuggling explosives. In view of the incident of illegal storage of ammo and making of crackers in the area, SSP Ram Babu of the district has suspended Tatarpur SHO SK Sudhanshu Kumar. FSL experts came to the spot and checked and also took samples. The DIG said that the police are investigating the case at every level.
