Patna: With the announcement of ticket sharing in Bihar assembly elections, the Bihar revolt began within Bihar BJP. The party has ousted nine of its senior leaders from the party for six years due to contesting against NDA's official nominees. State BJP unit president Sanjay Jaiswal has said that action has been taken against the party leaders who are contesting against the NDA official candidates and a notice of action has also been issued.
He said the party had already expressed its opinion in this regard. In a letter signed by Jaiswal, nine leaders have been expelled from the party for six years, including Rajendra Singh, Rameshwar Chaurasia, Ravindra Yadav, Dr Usha Vidyarthi, Shweta Singh, Indu Kashyap, Anil Kumar, Mrinal Shekhar and Ajay Pratap. "You are contesting against the NDA candidate. This is tarnishing the image of NDA as well as the party," he said. The letter further says that you are expelled from the party for six years because of this anti-party act."
Let us tell you that in Bihar assembly elections, many BJP leaders have jumped into the electoral arena on the ticket of other parties. Chirag Paswan's Lok Janshakti Party (LOJPA) has fielded several BJP leaders. Among them, BJP's state vice-president Rajendra Singh has been fielded from Dinara by Lojopa, while Sasaram to Rameshwar Chaurasia has been fielded. LJP has given a ticket to former MLA Usha student from Paliganj and Dr Ravindra Yadav from Jhajha.
