Bihar's lockdown extended till May 25, CM nitish says- positive impact seen

Patna: The Nitish Kumar government has imposed a lockdown till May 15 to break the link between the corona epidemic in Bihar. Now, it has been extended by the State Government till 25th May. This has been reported by CM Nitish Kumar himself. CM Nitish tweeted that the lockdown in the state has been extended till May 25.

In an official tweet, Nitish Kumar said, "The lockdown situation in Bihar was reviewed today with fellow ministers and officials. The lockdown is showing a positive impact. Hence, it has been decided to extend the lockdown in Bihar for the next 10 days i.e. The Nitish Kumar government in Bihar had imposed lockdown in the state from May 5 to May 15 following a reprimand from the Patna High Court.

It was expiring on Saturday. Now, the Government has extended it for 10 more days. Cases of corona infection have started declining in the state. But around 10,000 patients are being found every day. That is why the Government has decided to increase the lockdown.
