Muzaffarpur: Bone chips worth 90 lakhs have been recovered in Raxaul in Motihari district of Bihar. Raxaul Customs, with the help of SSB, have busted a large smuggler group by seizing bone chips of a rare foreign animal worth 90 lakh rupees. Raxaul Custom was informed that the smuggler syndicate has loaded the animal's bone chips in the truck and are sending them to different areas of Uttar Pradesh.
To confirm the information, Deputy Commissioner of Raxaul Custom, Ashutosh Kumar Singh started making a team and started killing Red, then a truck of UP 41 T / 6111 number filled with bone chips was found near Manokamna temple, 4 km from the border. When the custom team was closely interrogated by the truck driver, the driver said that Koiria Tola has been loaded from the scrap warehouse of Ganesh Enterprises.
When the custom team raided the scrap warehouse in Koiratola, it seized around 1200 bags of bone chips of rare animals from Tanzania, including Nepal and African countries. A container of UK 06 CB / 9483 number was also recovered from the warehouse. Bone chips, including banned scraps, were being loaded to reach Kanpur. Custom's team has seized both trucks and bone chips of rare foreign animals. According to the Customs Department, the value of the seized goods is about 90 lakh rupees.
