Patna: In many parts of the country yesterday, on November 3, the process of voting started and a large number of people also voted. Voting has been done in three different phases in Bihar, and till now the voting has been completed on two phases. In the midst of this vote, news has come out, after hearing about which your senses will fly away.

The news of the tragic death of the presiding officer in Samastipur, Bihar has come to light on Wednesday. During the deposition of EVMs, the presiding officer Vinod Kumar Rai suddenly worsened, after which he was admitted to the hospital, where he died during treatment.

According to the information, the deceased Vinod Kumar Rai was working as a lab technician in Dr Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural College, Pusa. In Bihar assembly elections 2020, he was posted as the presiding officer at booth number 226 of Hasanpur assembly. The deceased were residents of Pusa in Harpur district.
