Patna: In Bihar, the crime cases are not taking the name of stopping, the latest case has come out from Gaya district of Bihar. The body of an elderly couple has been recovered by the police on Friday from a house in Anti police station area under Gaya district. Both have been strangled to death. A police official said that after being informed by the villagers, the police recovered the dead body of an elderly couple from their own house in Aulia Bigha village.
A police officer has said that Janaki Saw (80) and his wife Tapeshwari Devi (75) lived alone in their house and their corpse has been recovered from their house in the morning. Angi Paswan, the police station in-charge of Anti, has told that both have been strangled, and their families have been informed about it. He has given information from the villagers that the deceased has three sons and all three live in different cities.
The property dispute is said to be the reason for the separation of the three sons from their parents, under which the three sons have left their ancestral home. The station in-charge has told that, prima facie the case seems to be a property dispute, but only after investigation, the police will be able to give specific information regarding the incident. The bodies have been rushed to the hospital for postmortem. The police is investigating the entire case.
