Patna: The Bihar government has taken a unique initiative to curb corruption in the state. Now the government will reward the person who helped to arrest the corrupt. The Bihar cabinet met under the chairmanship of the state Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, where the proposal was approved.

According to the proposal, the state government will reward from 1000 rupees to 50000 rupees to any person who will help in arresting a corrupt person. In this sequence, the Bihar government has also decided that the information about the person who will help in getting the bribery will be kept confidential. After the decision of the Bihar cabinet, it seems as if the state government does not appear to be successful in curbing the corrupt in Bihar. In such a situation, he now needs the help of ordinary citizens. The state government has also set up a prize fund to reward the people who helped in catching the bribery, from which the funds will be provided.

According to the proposal, if such a situation comes to light that the person giving information may have to go to court while bringing the corrupt behind bars, then the state government will bear the expenses. Apart from this, the person who comes to the court to testify will get rail freight to come and also he will get 200 per day for food and drink.
