Patna: In order to rein in the ever increasing road accident cases in Bihar, the government has decided to cancel the driver's license and vehicle registration found guilty in a road accident. In view of the speed with which road accidents are increasing in Bihar, Transport Minister Sheela Mandal and Transport Secretary Sanjay Kumar Aggarwal recently held important meetings with the District Transport Officers of all the districts.

In this meeting, it was decided that the registration of the guilty vehicles and the license of the drivers in the case of road accident will be canceled. In this meeting of the Transport Department, it has also been decided that a special investigation campaign will be conducted in all the districts to curb overloading in auto and bus.

Transport Minister Sheela Mandal has urged the people of Bihar to strictly follow the road safety rules so that the cases of road accidents are reduced. Minister Sheela Mandal has appealed to the people that if they drive a two wheeler, then always wear a helmet while doing this and if you drive a four wheeler, then wear a seat belt.
