Munger: Three women have been arrested on a large scale with indigenous liquor from Munger railway station under the campaign being run by the Jamalpur GRP police station over Holi. The 3 women arrested are from Chandi place of Basudevpur OP area. The campaign is being carried out by the Jamalpur GRP police station to prevent illegal smuggling from other states and its sale by liquor vendors on the festival of Holi.

As part of this operation, 3 women were arrested in a suspicious condition by the GRP police on Saturday from Munger railway station with two bags and a bag. During the investigation, GRP police seized 135 bottles of Jharkhand-made country liquor. GRP police officials said that the three women arrested are residents of Chandi place of Basudevpur OP area.
